After graduating this May from Huntington University with my degree in Elementary Education, I decided to take a "leap of faith!" When I was born, my parents named me Ashley Faith Buck - and now I'm living it out!
On August 4th I will be leaving Fort Wayne and beginning my teaching career as a 6th grade teacher in the Sanitago Christian School (http://www.scs.edu.do/) in the Dominican Republic!
I first heard about this school from one of my professors at college and and decided to look into it. On July 3rd I was offered a position at this school and after a few days of prayer and discussion with friends and family, I made the decision to say yes!
So, I'm in my final week of preparation - packing and planning to leave the country!

Ashley, Dick and I are very proud of you. We hope that your faith in Christ will grow and lead you where he wants you to be to do his work. WE will miss you and your smiling face.
